Brushes For Painting... And Then Some!

I'm a huge eyeliner fan! And recently, I have been purchasing a few cream gel eyeliners, testing and trying out which one's the best and by ‘best’ y'all know it means taking in consideration, the price.

So as I am trying to make my way through these heaps of gel liner brands, I finally figured out that not only is discovering something of good quality— one that doesn't smudge, is waterproof (very important), stays on for a long time, and is affordable— the key, you must also know that using the perfect brush/applicator is also a must to achieve whatever effect you want on your lash line:)

Sara Bareilles - Kaleidoscope Heart

If I were to list down my all time favorite female singers, I assure you that the list would be ridiculously filled with either someone who sings and plays the piano, or the guitar, or both. And this girl named Sarah Bareilles who plays both amazingly, is without a doubt one of my tip top faves.

This is a great album of Sara's and I think everyone would love her subtle f-yous, concealed in her opinionated, tasteful, and witty lyrics. Put together with beautiful melodies and catchy tunes to boot!

I love you, Sara! You are my idol :)

Even the album art is like ‘WOW!’

Can you tell which one's my favorite track from the album? LOL

Make Up Books by Claire's

Hi, guys! I was window shopping on-line (as always) when I bumped into these super cute make up palettes by Claire's. And they reminded me so much of those high end packaging from famous brands like The Balm, Benefit, Too Faced and Urban Decay.

Now, we all know that the palettes from these brands have sky high prices so opted to go look for alternatives. Although I am also aware that these popular brands are sold at a particular price range for a reason— they are of good quality. But I was browsing through (one of my most favorite YouTube gurus) EmilyNoel83's channel and one of her videos called Surprisingly Awesome Make Up Products featured Claire's eyeshadows being nice and pigmented!

And this is a guru I truly admire and trust when it comes to reviews. Her opinions and her commentary about certain products even those that were sent to her for free are always so honest and sincere. I see that she doesn't praise these products just because they were freebies but she's always so specific about the hits and misses, pros and cons, and whatnots. I really love her!

So anyway, I am drifting. Here are the super cute palettes I originally wanted to talk about. They are called Make Up Books by Claire's and they are extremely cute and pretty! I really love the flip book, high end-ish quality that I see just looking at them in these photos:

One Direction - Up All Night

I absolutely have no idea how to describe my musical preference. I usually don't listen to mainstream and it's not because I'm a poser, a hipster, or conformophobic in any way, it's just that I am more drawn into hearing obscure, haunting voices, and songs that I personally can relate to or understand and not just cause it's the current hit or it's always on the radio.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying this to sound cool or unique.
I do listen to pop, in fact, I consider them feel good songs!

And to prove that, I am here to tell you about my current favorite boy band called... ONE DIRECTION!

If you are to get the whole album, I can definitely assure you, it's worth it! :)

AppMazing: Carousel

I've been discovering a lot of really fun, efficient, and cheap apps these days. And I thought of sharing these amazing finds here in my blog from time to time.

Yesterday, I was going through random Instagram clients for my Mac and I found Carousel. Believe me or not, I love Instagram. I am always on it and I make sure I post at least 3 photos everyday of the things I eat, I buy, the scenery. It's a nice photoblog where in you have a dashboard to view the photos other people you follow post. I guess you can say it turned out to a social media tool for iOS users.

And they've recently announced that they are whipping up an Android version of the App so more people will have access to it! Hooray for my Android friends! ^^

So anyways, what I like about Carousel is the easy access feel to it as well as it's retro-ish interface. It's really nice! Give it a try if you are both Instagram and Mac user :)
