REVIEW: Laura Geller Balance -N- Brighten Foundation

Hello, everyone!

I recently got my Hautelook order from the mail and it just instantly made my day. Now, for those of you who don’t have an idea what Hautelook is, I have a separate blog entry discussing what the website is about.

Anyway, the package that came in is my much awaited Laura Geller Balance -N- Brighten Foundation in the shade Fair. I was initially skeptical on what shade to get (Fair or Medium) but as I was researching for reviews regarding the oxidation, I felt like I was running out of time since many of the items got Sold Out for the first few hours of the event.

REVIEW: eBay Synthetic Face Brushes

This is a little haul and first impression on a set of eBay brushes that are actually trying to be dupes for the Sigma Face brushes! I bought a 4-piece set made from synthetic fibers for around $19 which I thought was pretty cheap.

REVIEW: Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color

Today, I am reviewing the Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color in the shade Cherry On Top and High-Pitched Wine. This is a part of their permanent line of lip colors and I see that these are available in all Wet n Wild counters at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Kmart.

Paul and Joe - Make Up Packaging

Hey, guys! It's been a while since I last posted a 'Cute Packaging' entry and I was supposed to do a compilation one with brands of sorts but weirdly one brand stood out the most and I felt like it's worthy of a special mention. This is one of those love at first sign brands and I felt this one since the day I laid eyes on those cute kitty lippies about a year and a half ago in Tumblr!

I'm talking about Paul and Joe it's awesome, awesome, plain genius packaging! Paul and Joe is originally a clothing line that later ventured on their cosmetics line.

I have never tried any of their products, mind you. I don't even know anyone who have. So I am being completely honest when I say I am (yet again) praising the packaging of these items and not the performance of the cosmetics as well :)

Anyways... let's get started!

Brushes For Painting... And Then Some!

I'm a huge eyeliner fan! And recently, I have been purchasing a few cream gel eyeliners, testing and trying out which one's the best and by ‘best’ y'all know it means taking in consideration, the price.

So as I am trying to make my way through these heaps of gel liner brands, I finally figured out that not only is discovering something of good quality— one that doesn't smudge, is waterproof (very important), stays on for a long time, and is affordable— the key, you must also know that using the perfect brush/applicator is also a must to achieve whatever effect you want on your lash line:)

More after the jump!;)

Sara Bareilles - Kaleidoscope Heart

If I were to list down my all time favorite female singers, I assure you that the list would be ridiculously filled with either someone who sings and plays the piano, or the guitar, or both. And this girl named Sarah Bareilles who plays both amazingly, is without a doubt one of my tip top faves.

This is a great album of Sara's and I think everyone would love her subtle f-yous, concealed in her opinionated, tasteful, and witty lyrics. Put together with beautiful melodies and catchy tunes to boot!

I love you, Sara! You are my idol :)

Even the album art is like ‘WOW!’

'
Can you tell which one's my favorite track from the album? LOL
